2023 marks Roof Depot's milestone in roofing as it celebrates its 25th year in business. Terry Dickerson, owner and CEO of Roof Depot, started the company in 1998, performing maintenance and repairs for multifamily properties and then grew from there. Calling it his “Forrest Gump moment,” Dickerson says, he “… just kept roofing.”

Fast forward to 2023, Roof Depot has grown into one of the largest roofing contractors in the country. Roofing Contractor Magazine shows Roof Depot has consistently been among the nation's top 25 largest roofers. Roof Depot has 150+ employees and serves the greater Atlanta area and over 15 states, including the U.S. Virgin Islands, in various projects.

Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, Florida, and Maryland.

Since its inception in 1998, the company has produced best-in-class commercial and residential roofs with incredible success and a best-in-class safety record. Only a few roofing companies make it to a 25th anniversary. On average, a roofing company only stays in business for four years. It’s widely stated that 80% of roofing contractors fail within the first two years, and in 5 years, 96% are entirely out of business. So in 2023, Roof Depot will make a huge deal about it and plan to celebrate its success company-wide all year round and continue to find new ways to improve its service and systems and build relationships.

2023 also marks the year Roof Depot will dedicate growth to its residential re-roofing division. Our commercial property customers all share peace of mind regarding the integrity of the roofs we have repaired, installed or replaced. Our goal is to reach more homeowners looking for that same peace of mind as their trusted residential roofer, a roofer who has been in business for 25 years and is looking forward to the next 25 years.
